Malaysia Passport Photograph Requirements:

We are informed that the passport photo specifications for Malaysian Passport has changed in 2014.

• 2 recent identical photographs taken in front of plain white or off-white background
• 35mm x 50mm
• Size such that the head is between 25mm -30mm from the bottom of the chin to the top of head
• Dark coloured clothing covering shoulders and chest
• Taken in full-faces view directly facing the camer a with a neutral facial expression, both eyes open and mouth closed
• Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures that hair or hairline unless worn daily for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on your face

Specs (probably old)

1. Front View
2. Face appearance must be 1-1/2 in big, excluding shoulder length.
3. Light Blue background (preferred).
4. Passport photograph size 2 in x 2 in
5. No home printed photographs, blurry photographs, dark background color photographs accepted and please wear proper attire (no sleeveless or t-shirts).
6. Please use professional photographing services. (Do not use instant photo kiosk.)
